About MB Custom Woodworks
Hello and welcome! My name is Matt Becker, and I am the owner and craftsman behind MB Custom Woodworks. I have been building cabinets and furniture since 2022. What started as a project to build a bathroom cabinet for my mom has transformed into a journey to create custom pieces that solve real, everyday needs.
I like to make all sorts of things, from cabinets and furniture to outdoor planter boxes and wooden signs.
My Story
It all began with a bathroom vanity for my mom in 2022. She wanted to replace an existing pedestal sink with a vanity and she just couldn't find one that she liked that also fit between the bathroom walls. I decided to figure out how to make a cabinet! And so my woodworking journey had begun...

Since that original bathroom vanity, I have expanded into making all sorts of furniture, cabinetry, and home decor. I enjoy the challenge of variety and the reward of breathing life into one-of-a-kind creations.

That original bathroom vanity was far more functional than the pedestal sink that it replaced, with storage space below the sink and extra counter space. Functionality is a driving force behind my projects and designs. Furniture design should not only enhance practicality but also elevate the overall aesthetic of the space.

Functionality may drive every design, but craftsmanship is what brings every piece to life. ​Every piece that leaves my shop has to pass one simple test: would I be proud to display that piece in my own home?
